Health workers are at the frontline of this fight. Our role is to ensure that services are delivered safely, respectfully, and confidentially, and that safe spaces are maintained for adolescents to access care without fear. It is our duty to educate, guide, and empower our communities to make informed reproductive health choices.
To the adolescents and young people here today: these services are for you. Health facilities provide safe, youth-friendly spaces where you can access reproductive health services free of charge, receive counselling, and make informed decisions. Do not hesitate to use them your health, your future, and your dreams matter.
We sincerely commend the Zambia Association of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians (ZAGO) for sponsoring today’s event and for their continuous support through training, advocacy, and technical guidance. Their partnership strengthens our ability to deliver quality reproductive health services. We also call on other partners and stakeholders to join us in supporting outreach, adolescent programs, and capacity-building initiatives. Together, we can reach more people, reduce preventable maternal deaths, and empower our communities.
