Zambia Country Report Needs Assessment

The Needs Assessment is the first phase of FIGO’s multi-country safe abortion advocacy project. It provides a better and more in-depth understanding of the capacities and needs of national societies of obstetrics and gynaecology that the three-year project could address. Also, it provides more clarity on how FIGO can strengthen more effectively the capacities of national societies, in this case ZAGO. This includes the provision of recommendations on the content of the capacity building program by developing country action plans with budget, as well as a comprehensive program proposal for the whole ten countries.
